The cat will walk through it and die if you arent careful, and also the quest with the teleport guy, he will walk through it and die as well if you dont make an opening.Įnemies seem to ignore death fog in their pathing, so the way i do it is place a barrel to the right of alexander (his right), as far back against the wall and near dallis pet as possible to still hit him in the cloud (Aproach from the outside platform opposite of the ladder side, dont take the ladder into joy remember to quicksave).
Since death fog never goes away on its own the way you use it to kill alexander at the start should be considered. Then just place them all on the beach and return to grab one as needed. You can area transition while encumbered so just stack all three barrels on each other and move them back to the back exit of the first area so that after you return below to save people you can just pick them all up and exit which triggers the cutscene. Make sure you pick up the furthest on the right second and then the one in the middle last. You need to get the one on the left first and then the two on the right. You can get all three if you have haste and telekenesis.
